seemy.beer is an independent price tracker. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by or connected to the operators of PerfectDraft, or to any brewery, brand or retailer listed on this site.

Trade marks

PerfectDraft, and all beer, brewery, product and retailer names and logos referenced on this site, are the trade marks of their respective owners. They are used here for identification purposes only, to say which product a price refers to. No endorsement or association is claimed or implied.

Prices and availability

Price and stock information is collected automatically, roughly every 30 minutes, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Historical prices are shown as recorded at the time and may not reflect what was actually available.

It is provided for information only and is not an offer to sell. Always confirm the current price and availability with the retailer before purchasing.

Beer metadata

Brewery, style, ABV and country information comes from a separate catalogue that is compiled by hand and bundled at build time. It can be wrong or missing, and it is not sourced from the retailer.

Drinking responsibly

This site is for people aged 18 and over. If you would like information or advice about alcohol, Drinkaware is a good place to start.

Reporting a problem

The "Report a problem" control sends your message along with technical details about the page: build version, market, product, filters, screen size, browser, and when the price data was last collected. You can see all of it before you send. No cookies are read and none are sent.

Please do not include personal details. There is no account system and no way to reply, so anything identifying you serves no purpose and will not be used.

Reports go into our private issue tracker so we can fix what you have told us about, and are kept there as a record of the fix. They are not published.

Your message, and the market and product it is about, are also sent to Anthropic's Claude API. It does two things: it checks whether the same problem has already been reported, so that everything about one fault stays together, and it writes a short title for the report so we can tell at a glance what it is about. The technical details listed above are not sent there. Nothing is shared with anyone else.

If you have accidentally included personal details, email [email protected] and we will remove the report. If you would rather email in the first place, that address reaches the same person.

Who controls your data

The data controller is Brett Jenkins, a sole trader trading as TidyLabs, of 52-56 Standard Road, London, NW10 6EU. A trading name cannot be a controller, so this names the person rather than the brand.

This notice covers tracker.seemy.beer only. The TidyLabs privacy policy at tidylabs.co.uk/privacy covers everything true of the controller whichever site you use: your rights, how to complain, how long things are kept and where data goes. What is below is only what is specific to the tracker.

What this site collects

Almost nothing, and that is worth saying plainly rather than burying. There are no accounts here. We never ask for your name or your email address, there is nothing to sign up for, and there are no price alerts or watchlists, so nothing personal is ever attached to a keg you looked at.

The age check asks for your date of birth, but only to do the sum. It is thrown away immediately and never stored. What is kept is that the check passed, and when.

Cloudflare, who host this site, process standard request logs including your IP address so pages can be served and the site kept secure. Our visitor statistics are Cloudflare’s, which set no cookies and do not fingerprint or follow anyone between sites. Our lawful basis for both is legitimate interests: running a working, un-attacked website and knowing roughly how many people use it.

Cookies

Two, both about the age check, neither for advertising. smb-age records that you passed it, for 12 months if you tick the box and until you close the browser if you do not. smb-age-block records for 24 hours that an under-18 date was entered.

Both are set for the whole of seemy.beer rather than just this site, which is deliberate: pass the check here and you are not asked again on the codes board, and the other way round. That sharing is the one thing that genuinely crosses between the sites — nothing else does.

There is nothing else. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking and no fingerprinting, which is why there is no consent banner to click through.

Who else sees anything

Cloudflare hosts the site and sees your IP address because they serve the page. Google serves the two fonts this site is set in, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them and Google sees your IP address as a result. Nothing about what you do here is sent to them.

Nobody else. Nothing is sold on, and there are no advertising networks. Where the data goes once it leaves the UK, and the safeguards relied on, are set out in the TidyLabs privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict what we do with it, or to object to it. The full list, and how to exercise them, is in the TidyLabs privacy policy. Email [email protected] and we will answer within a month.

There is a genuine catch and it is better said than hidden: this site holds no name, no email address and no account, so for practically everybody there is simply nothing here that is identifiably yours to find. The law does not require us to start collecting more data in order to go looking.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled something you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You can do that without asking us first, though we would rather you gave us the chance to put it right.
